First, what belongs to Kit Crew on kitcrew.shop and how you may use it. Second, how we respect other people&#8217;s names, logos and designs, which is why our personalisation fields accept players&#8217; names and numbers but never crests, mascots or brands. Copyright takedown notices have their own process on our <a href=\"/dmca/\">DMCA</a> page.</p>\n<section class=\"policy-summary\">\n<h2>The short version</h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Our designs, product photos, descriptions and the Kit Crew name belong to Kit Crew.</li>\n<li>Share links freely. That includes the Kit Crew name, the jersey and gear designs, colourways and stripe patterns, the product photos and illustrations, product descriptions, size and ordering guidance, help articles, page layout and the site&#8217;s code. It is protected by copyright, trademark and related laws.</p>\n<h3>Our designs</h3>\n<p>The cut lines, side stripes, hoops, pinstripes and panel layouts on items such as the Side-Stripe Basketball Jersey, the Hooped Soccer Jersey and the Pinstripe Baseball Jersey are our own artwork choices. So are the placements for name and number on the ten custom products. You may wear and use what you buy, of course. You may not reproduce the designs to sell elsewhere.</p>\n<h3>Our words and photos</h3>\n<p>Product copy, policy pages and guides were written for this store. Product images were made for this store. Please do not lift them into a marketplace listing, another shop or a printed catalogue.</p>\n<h2>What you may and may not do with our content</h2>\n<table class=\"policy-table\">\n<caption>Using Kit Crew content</caption>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th scope=\"col\">Use</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">Allowed?</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">Notes</th>\n</tr>\n</thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Sharing a product link in the team group chat</td>\n<td>Yes</td>\n<td>That is exactly why product links exist</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Taking a screenshot of the live preview to show parents the planned look</td>\n<td>Yes</td>\n<td>For organising your own team order</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Printing a page to keep with your order records</td>\n<td>Yes</td>\n<td>Personal, non-commercial use</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Quoting a short line with a link back</td>\n<td>Yes</td>\n<td>Keep it short and credit the page</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Copying product photos into your own shop or listing</td>\n<td>No</td>\n<td>Ask us in writing first</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Recreating our designs to make and sell jerseys</td>\n<td>No</td>\n<td>The designs belong to Kit Crew</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Using the Kit Crew name in a way that suggests we endorse you</td>\n<td>No</td>\n<td>Unless we agree in writing</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Scraping the catalogue with bots</td>\n<td>No</td>\n<td>Normal search engine indexing is fine</td>\n</tr>\n</tbody>\n</table>\n<h2>Why we only print your players&#8217; own names and numbers</h2>\n<p>A team order is personal. It is also where intellectual property problems start. A captain asks for the league crest on the chest. A coach wants the school mascot on the sleeve. An office organiser emails the company logo for the softball shirts. A parent asks for a famous pro player&#8217;s name and number for their kid. Every one of those belongs to someone else.</p>\n<p>We cannot check who owns every crest, mascot, sponsor mark or club name, and we cannot verify that a customer has permission to use one. So we keep a simple rule: we print no logos and no third-party names at all. Our designs are original, and the only things added are the fields you fill in.</p>\n<h3>What the fields accept</h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Player name on back:</strong> up to 14 characters, printed in capitals. A player&#8217;s own name, a surname, initials or a team nickname such as a first name shortened.</li>\n<li><strong>Player number:</strong> 0 to 99, including 0 and 00.</li>\n<li><strong>Lettering colour:</strong> White, Black, Safety Orange or Gold.</li>\n<li><strong>Optional extras:</strong> the number on the front too, the Roster note on some items, or the leg number on Team Basketball Shorts.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>What we turn down</h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Team, club, league, school or church names typed into the name field.</li>\n<li>Mascots, crests, badges, sponsor marks or company logos sent by email.</li>\n<li>Names of pro teams or pro players, and slogans that belong to a brand.</li>\n<li>Characters, quotes or artwork from films, games, music or cartoons.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If we spot one of these in an order, we email you before printing. Usually the fix is easy: swap the line to the player&#8217;s own name, or leave the name blank and keep the number. If that does not work for you, we cancel that line and refund it.</p>\n<h3>Common questions from organisers</h3>\n<h3>Can I use a nickname?</h3>\n<p>Yes. Office softball rosters are full of them. A nickname is fine as long as it is not someone else&#8217;s brand, character or slogan, and is not offensive.</p>\n<h3>Our league gave us permission to use its crest. Can you print it then?</h3>\n<p>No. We do not print any logos, even with permission, because we cannot verify permissions at scale. Pick a colourway close to your league colours instead; the lettering colours and stripe options get most teams there.</p>\n<h3>Can I add the crest myself afterwards?</h3>\n<p>What you do with a jersey after delivery is up to you and the rights holder. Kit Crew is not involved, and adding decorations may affect a return. Ask us first if you are unsure.</p>\n<h2>Building a team look without anyone else&#8217;s logo</h2>\n<p>Teams want to look like a team. You can get there with what is already on the product page, without borrowing a crest.</p>\n<h3>Start with the colourway</h3>\n<p>Pick the colourway closest to your team colours across the whole roster. Keep every player on the same product so the cut and stripe line up on the bench. For a mixed squad, such as 14 youth soccer players, two goalkeepers and two adult coaches, the Custom Team Soccer Jersey and the Custom Goalkeeper Jersey are designed to sit together.</p>\n<h3>Use lettering colour as your signature</h3>\n<p>White, Black, Safety Orange and Gold lettering cover most team palettes. Choose one lettering colour for the whole roster and type it the same on every cart line. Consistent lettering does more for a team look than a small chest badge.</p>\n<h3>Let the numbers do the work</h3>\n<p>Tick &#8220;Add number on the front too&#8221; (+$3, charged only when ticked) for a bolder look on game day. On basketball, the optional leg number on Team Basketball Shorts finishes the set.</p>\n<h3>Practice gear stays plain</h3>\n<p>Pinnies, training jerseys and socks are logo-free by design. A clinic director can order a bag of Team Practice Pinnies in two colours on single lines, with no roster needed, and still have nothing to clear with a rights holder.</p>\n<h2>Copycat listings and misuse of the Kit Crew name</h2>\n<p>If you see our product photos, descriptions or name used on another website, marketplace or social account, it is not us unless it links back to kitcrew.shop. Kit Crew sells only through this site. Please send us the link so we can look into it. Never pay a seller who claims to be Kit Crew outside kitcrew.shop, and never send roster details to an address other than <a href=\"mailto:support@kitcrew.shop\">support@kitcrew.shop</a>.</p>\n<p>Where our own content has been copied, we may contact the site owner, its host or the marketplace and ask for removal. We do this to protect customers from confusion as much as to protect our work.</p>\n<h2>Respecting other people&#8217;s rights</h2>\n<p>We do not knowingly sell anything that infringes a trademark, copyright, design right or someone&#8217;s right of publicity. Our product names describe what the item is, such as a two-button softball jersey or a goalkeeper jersey. Generic sports words are not anyone&#8217;s brand, and we do not use real team, league, club, college or brand names anywhere in the catalogue.</p>\n<p>If a name that belongs to someone else ever appears on the site, it is a mistake. Tell us and we will fix it. The appearance of any third-party name does not mean that party endorses Kit Crew.</p>\n<h2>How to report an intellectual property concern</h2>\n<p>If you own a trademark, a design or another right and believe something on kitcrew.shop infringes it, email <a href=\"mailto:support@kitcrew.shop\">support@kitcrew.shop</a> with the subject line &#8220;IP concern&#8221; and include:</p>\n<ol>\n<li>Your name, organisation, email address and your relationship to the rights owner.</li>\n<li>The right concerned, for example a trademark registration number and country, or a description and image of your design.</li>\n<li>The exact URL of each product or page you are concerned about.</li>\n<li>A short explanation of why you believe it infringes.</li>\n<li>A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorised to act for them.</li>\n</ol>\n<p>Copyright claims about photos, text or artwork should follow the steps on our <a href=\"/dmca/\">DMCA</a> page, which asks for a few extra legal statements.</p>\n<h2>What happens after you report</h2>\n<table class=\"policy-table\">\n<caption>Our steps after an IP report</caption>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th scope=\"col\">Step</th>\n<th scope=\"col\">What we do</th>\n</tr>\n</thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>Acknowledge</td>\n<td>Reply within 24 hours on business days to confirm we have your report</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Ask</td>\n<td>Request any missing detail, such as a URL or registration number</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Review</td>\n<td>Compare the content with the right you described</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Act</td>\n<td>Remove, rename or change the content if the concern is valid</td>\n</tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Confirm</td>\n<td>Email you with the outcome</td>\n</tr>\n</tbody>\n</table>\n<p>If we decide no change is needed, we explain why. Reports made in bad faith, or used to push a competitor off the market, may be ignored and can carry legal consequences for the sender.</p>\n<h3>If your report concerns a customer&#8217;s order</h3>\n<p>Personalisation text is private order data and never appears on the site. If you believe a jersey was printed with your mark despite our rule, tell us the circumstances. We will check our records, stop any matching lines that have not been printed yet and tighten our checks. We will not share the customer&#8217;s personal information with you unless the law requires it.</p>\n<h2>Your own content and feedback</h2>\n<p>The names and numbers you type stay yours; we use them only to print your order. If you send us ideas, such as a new colourway or a sport we do not cover yet, we may use the idea without paying for it, but we will never publish your personal information or your players&#8217; names. Photos you email us are deleted 30 days after delivery and are not used in marketing without your permission.</p>\n<h2>Permission requests and contact</h2>\n<p>Want to use a Kit Crew photo or quote a guide in a club newsletter?
